SAUNA WOOD

Sauna made of cedar wood

This species of wood is native to Canada, and the complexity of the craftsmanship necessitates a high level of technical knowledge and experience. Because of its stunning elegance and natural aroma, it is used to create personalized saunas: it emits a powerful fragrance that is enhanced by the sauna's heat. The wood strips are painstakingly applied for a unique look and unparalleled craftsmanship. The Elite line's sauna benches are also composed of cedar strips, giving it a high level of status.

Thermo-wood is made from thermo-treated Ashwood, which gives it a black appearance with prominent veins. As a result, Thermo-wood saunas are great for creating chromatic contrasts or for situations that appreciate dark wengè colors. The seats and back wall of these saunas can be made of Linden wood, which contrasts with the side walls and ceiling, giving them a modern and cheerful appearance.

Sauna made of linden wood

The linden tree was known as "lignum sacrum" (holy wood) in the Middle Ages because it was commonly used in religious structures. Trees can reach a height of 30 meters and live for a long time in south-eastern Europe. The wood is yellow-white or pale pink with a white tinge. It can be used in conjunction with dark woods to create dramatic color contrasts.
