Pine KELO comes from Karelia or from the territory beyond the Arctic Circle. It is a tree without bark, dried up in the wild under natural conditions. The tree age is about 300-500 years according to the diameter of the annual rings. At the same time, it remains at the root and keeps its vertical position for hundreds of years. The reason for the tree death is weakening of the root system, which no longer feeds them. This wood contains a minimum moisture, in which pests or fungus can’t survive.

Pine KELO is best choice for building a sauna. It is all about the low thermal conductivity and at the same time the high thermal capacity of the dead wood, as well as its constant size. Such properties help to keep temperature inside the steam room for a long time and experience a soft heat. The does not emit tar, change colour or crack.

This material is used to create a unique ECO - Archaism projects. KELO materials, due to its origin and age, has specific characteristics that are unacceptable for ordinary materials. However, it is these qualities that are the most important for designers, creating an atmosphere of wildness, brutality and handycraft, which cannot be simulated by artificial solutions.
